Benidorm Weekend

We rented a car and headed south for the weekend -- we almost didn't make it out because it was Pride Weekend and the parade was starting -- we were honestly the very last car out of the neighborhood before they set up the barricade! So we drove down to a resort that was ... weird. It was kind of a zoo and a waterpark and a mobile home park? It was a little like Jurassic Park. It was an all-inclusive buffet cafeteria that was full of British families with sunburned dads, overdressed moms, and exhausted toddlers. It was pretty funny. Our girls LOVE water fun and it was easy to feed them so it worked. It was a little weird to be able to see and smell elephants from the infinity pool ...

Bunk beds are FUN! Too bad it took until almost midnight for the AC to make a dent in the heat so they were in our bed for the first part of the night!
