December

E has bursts of emotion from time to time. Parenting is no joke.

Hawk of the Week!

Puzzle girl hard at work.

Peek-a-boo during lunch

Another example of how much can change in just a year. E barely gives me trouble about homework this year. Last year? Tears, fights, drama. Phew.

Fancy day at school!

Budding choreographer!

Ballerinas at school for fancy day!

Boston Nutcracker with the Rookirks!

MOMS Club for-EVAH

Maya is here! And she has EPIC red-eye bed-head

Crazy hair day!

Q is NOT happy that I haven't been bringing her out to the bus. It is too cold and too much work to get everyone suited up!

Ollie wanted to know (very loudly) if those were REAL PEOPLE on the stage?
Phew! December was BUSY!

NYE

We had a ROCKIN' New Year's Eve. That's a lie. We DID make it all the way to midnight but after hosting several events and traveling, we were TIRED and happy to be home just the five of us in out own comfy beds. Happy New Year. Jas accomplished his handstand and I can do a full split. This year I will work on drinking more water, donating to worthy causes, and mastering the firefly, dancer, and birds of paradise poses. I guess I should take photos of my yoga progress? Maybe.

We had GIANT tiger shrimp for dinner.

Xmas in Rockaway

Traveling with all these small people on Christmas day was NOT fun last year so we decided to wait a day this year ... unfortunately so did everyone else so it took us EIGHT AND A HALF HOURS to get there. Quinn started to cry about seven hours in and I started to cry about 20 minutes later. It was awful. The girls were happy to spend some quality time with cousins.

Q is a big fan of April the dog

Little Zach loves dinosaurs

Christmas

Christmas will small children is magical.

Quinn was too hungry to pose for a picture.

Santa came!!!

And brought a Kiger! Her hands turned blue from the spots, but she loves it!

Santa brought Robette the Robot!

Jas told Elliott that he had everything he needed in life and that any gift would just be gravy. So of course, she got him actual gravy.

Great Donny sent Lindsay some batteries? Even though he didn't have her in the Kris Kringle?

Quinn can't put her arms down!

Last year is was like 70 degrees and this year it was a white Christmas!

Naptime!

We went to the Donovans' for dinner -- YUM pernil!

Legos are a big hit at our house. Especially superhero ones.

My little baker was SO happy about her easybake oven from Uncle Dylan and Auntie Amber!
