September

My little helper. She will drop anything and everything if Quinn is crying -- and she'll go inside to get me diaper changing supplies, too!

All hands on deck!

I am pretty impressed by this -- it's our backyard garden area and E captured it pretty well!

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a thumbsucker!

We didn't make it to the farmers market much this summer because it was so flipping hot. September is my favorite time to pack a picnic lunch.

Buy! Sell!

No screen time until they're 2 years old. Yup. Sure ... Crapper.

Well it only took 6 months but the roof is finally being fixed!  Wheee! T is back in her room and Q is in the crib!

"Selfies!" Oh my mama what are they going to be like when they're 14?

I am extremely blind but need to be able to see several times a night with this little chubkin. My glasses are so bent from sleeping like this!

HOW DID WE GET TO THE JUMPY PHASE SO FAST?!?

T adores Q.

Sweatshirt weather. BRING IT ON.

So many activities ...

I know the "mom-otony" of life will start to get on my nerves eventually but for right now, this week, today, I am reveling in the structure and routine that is the back-to-school schedule. Happy Friday!

Tried to recreate my favorite ballet picture

T got suited up for E's soccer game.

Ballerina wrestling match

Open House invitation

Best case swim lesson scenario: my friend Wendy is the teacher and her buddy Isla is the only other kid in the class!

On Wednesdays, we eat dinner at 4:30 so we can make it to soccer practice at 5:30.

T joined in for the final huddle at soccer practice

Sideline cheerleaders

Cracking of the nuts audition!

E had a great audition for Willy Wonka at school -- when asked what role she'd like to play, this was her response. Ha!

A little more summer

Just a little bit more summer fun before we call it fall please!

Gymnastics in the tent!

Backyard camp out!  Amazingly, they made it the whole night! Everyone needed to pee at 6am!

Earning their allowance. Well, T doesn't get one yet so she was duped.

Today was a good day -- for entirely lame suburban family reasons like cleaning out the garage, vacuuming my car, and going to the grocery store alone, but still worth noting. Most days ARE good but I don't take the time to notice often enough. So today, I'm noticing.

Flaherty Fun

Spent some time with the Flaherty cousins and the baby hogging aunts!  :o)
Quinn Marie's namesake

Friday, September 2

Back to school!

Elliott, age 7 and a day, is off to 2nd grade!
Talie, age 3 and 9 months, has her first preschool orientation!
Quinn, age 3.5 months, just filled her diaper.

These three have been buddies since birth!

T has been SO TIRED and sleeping late -- I knew she'd be super sad if she didn't get to see Elliott before she went to school so I sent E up to wake her up ... AT 8:18!!! Sleepy girl!

Big kids are off to school?  Annual Moms and Mimosas playdate!

"New" purple sneakers for school!

Oh hello little pumpkin.

School. Is. Exhausting.
