VACATION!

We have been fortunate to be able to go on several long weekend adventures over the last two years but this week we took a much needed relaxing WEEK off and headed to Plum Island.  It. Was. Awesome.  And we still have two and a half more days at home until Jas goes back to work!

We are good at vacation.  I think we'll do it again.

Quiet time

We had a full house and lots of excitement at the beginning of the week so we took the next few days to be quiet and have some family bonding time. Translation: we ate a lot of ice cream.

Massaro Day

The Massaros met us for some morning beach fun.  The beach we intended on going to was full at 8:15 am but we still found a great spot along the shore to play together!

These two were tossing themselves headfirst into the water and then throwing buckets of water on themselves and each other.  They had a BLAST.

And then they were cold. :o)

I realized that for the past 7 years, we have spent the end of August with Matt, Linds, Larry and Andre.  This year, we added Baby Logan to the mix.  We have SO much fun together.  Anyone ever played "Cards Against Humanity?"  I'd highly recommend it.  I'd also recommend being friends with our friends.

Birthday Girl

We celebrated Elliott's birthday with a rainy Muppet movie morning, a FABULOUS beach afternoon with friends and a lobster dinner!  It was madness.  It was Larry's birthday, too!  Birthday buddies!

We let her open a present a day while we were away -- this is her opening her Rapunzel Barbie from Great Babsie.  LOVE.

Rapunzel was trumped only by her new backpack for school.  She cannot WAIT to go to school.  She talks about it all the time.
