Christmas Dinner

Nana and Papa Dan took all of the grownups out to a German Christmas feast. I am now in search of a good recipe for beef goulash.

Christmas Morning

Christmas with Santa-believers is magical.

"GASP! THERE'S A BITE OUT OF THE COOKIE!  SANTA ATE THE COOKIE!"

Talie found the pickle!

Elliott was SO sweet opening gifts.  She played with everything IMMEDIATELY.  We do 4 gifts here: something you need, something you want, something you read, and something you wear.  My favorite quote from her as she was opening stuff was: "I don't know what this is going to be but THANK YOU! ... [gasp] CLOTHES! YAY!"  Talie squealed happily a LOT.

Uncle Matt and Ant Lindsay win for the loudest gift.  Thanks?

Santa?  Or Mark Walhberg?

Christmas Eve

Christmas was different this year.  Not necessarily bad different.  Just different.  We had my siblings here for the Flahuvan shower so it was going to be just us but our friends invited us over for lasagna and jammie fun so off we went.  We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends. I wish I was a better writer so I could convey all the feels I am feeling.

Molly found the snack bag in my bag ... and couldn't get it off!  Caught pink headed!

Caroling on the coffee table!

Talie likes chocolate.

Christmas Card

Christmas cards are my favorite part of the season.  I LOVE checking the mail and seeing something other than coupons and bills!  I know that with Facebook and blogs, we've all seen the family pictures, but I just love displaying them on our wall.  Our list grows every year so we get more and more cards every year!

Elliott was not a willing participant in the photo session.

Success!

Talie LOVES Baby Ollie and keeps taking his card off the wall.  We also have his birth announcement card in our diaper bin that I use as a distraction method when she doesn't want to cooperate!
