January

Friends from Singapore came to visit during the COLDEST WEEKS EVER.

Sunshine and Barbies

Morning Meeting

She had 10 minutes to spare before the bus came and used it wisely.

Talie took a tumble in the bathroom and needed some "fun" purple glue -- we had to physically restrain her so she (and I!) earned ice cream for lunch!

Crazy hair day at school

Well I ... I don't know what to say? I guess I'll have to buy it to find out what his secret is?

Big sisters are the BEST

Third grade sass at the Ecotarium

"Show Daddy your new teeth."

This was close to midnight. And she was totally asleep.

The Greatest Showman soundtrack has been on repeat for days and today ... we're wearing ... hats?

Melt my heart.

Quick teeth brushing session before the bus comes!

T went to a "sleep-under" at her buddy Harper's house

Waiting for "AY-YET" to get off the "BUH!"

I am much to anal retentive for my own good. I got this far before Talie came to complain about Quinn pinching her. And then the plow guy came. Exercise. It was exercise.

Spa Day

Have I mentioned my Whale Aunties before? WA is a group of mom friends who are all on a prolific group text that covers every topic and emotion all day long. It makes life as a SAHM much less lonely when there are 5 other moms available to chat with. Anyhow, Nicole turned 40 and we all celebrated with a spa morning. Actually SEEING them IN PERSON was SUCH a treat. I love my Whale Aunties. Oh, the name comes from the fact that whales will leave their young with "aunties" while they go hunting. We have each other's backs and will happily help with kids, midlife crises, medical triage, and fashion advice.

Lace masks were hilarious and luxurious

So glowy

Sunday River

Our 4th annual trip was a success. These kids are getting so BIG! I'm hoping that maybe NEXT year I'll be able to get out there to ski?

Time to suit up, everyone! Except for you, Quinn.

Not a bad view for this snow bunny.

Oh Quinn, left out again.

Yeah, she's cute and all but she ska-REAMED her head off at night. It was so bad that we have decided to NOT go away for February break. Every stage is temporary. Sigh.

Fun and games for all ages!

WHEEEEEE!

I went to collect them after a full-day lesson and they all wanted to keep skiing! Jas took T up onto the chair lift ... "Um Daddy? How do we get DOWN? I'm a little scared." It took a while, and she shed a few tears (mainly because Jas skiied almost over her when she crashed), but she did it. She was SO TIRED.
