November

Another November with very little Cold November Rain

Dried blueberries are delicious

She started out in the middle of the room ... can't leave her alone anymore!

Who needs pants when you have legwarmers? She's been working hard at filling her marble jar and insists that she can help herself by climbing up on the counter.

Toothless McElliott may not be around a lot -- she's a busy lady with school and all the billions of activities she loves -- but she still manages to log twice as many words in a day as anyone else. :o)

Kind and helpful behavior earns marbles and a full jar means a trip to the movies is in order!

Just your typical dance Friday night dance party.

Headband sisters

It's true. She GUFFAWED at her dad's dancing.

Feeding this baby is a full contact sport. She will NOT take her fingers out of her mouth.

This is how dinner gets cooked around here.

Homework distraction

SECOND GRADE. I REMEMBER BEING IN SECOND GRADE. THIS IS ALL HAPPENING TOO FAST!

Talie refused to get her picture taken at school (they tried twice) so we improvised at home.

I mean. Can you stand it?

We lined up behind a busload of senior citizens so it took longer than expected but we had a nice lady who held our place in line for TWO Talie bathroom breaks. My patient girls earned their stickers.
Our first family dinner! Everyone sat, everyone ate!

Make way for grownup teeth! E has shark teeth, just like me. The grownup teeth have been coming in so crooked that they don't push out the baby teeth so off to the dentist we go! Braces are in her near future!

Lantern walk to "celebrate" the clocks changing!

Seriously, November might be my new favorite month. I've been running outside, we've been going to the park. It's been pretty awesome.

Soccer fans!

Little sisters kept busy on the sidelines of soccer

I don't think the Mighty Eagles won any games but they had a lot of fun together!

I miss Scout when we go for hikes. :o(

E's list of superpowers she'd like to have.

Like mother, like daughter, like sister, like Pappy -- tongue out while concentrating.

Turkey Day

There has been a lot of hate and sadness in the world recently and I decided our thankful tree needed to be made of hearts this year. We have a whole lot to be thankful for and I'm so glad my girls so easily and happily filled out their hearts. Life is good.

Big sister helping with spelling BLOCKS (preschool)

My favorite Thanksgiving tradition is watching the Rockettes at the Macy's Parade. The girls did a kickline and tried to recreate some complicated Cirque du Soleil poses. This was T's favorite part though: "HI SANTA! HI SANTA!"

Belated birthday coin toss with Gramps

Another year that it was nice enough to be out on the trampoline. I don't think it has been used since last Thanksgiving though so these girls were FILTHY!

Danger with Uncle Zach

Uncle Hank love

Guess who didn't sleep all weekend?

"My what big hands you have, Talie." She's the Hulk.

Black Friday dinner at Pop Pop's house
