April Showers

OK this is back-dated because I've been slacking. I'll do my best to caption ...

We celebrated our 13th anniversary by driving go-carts, bowling, and being the only people over the age of 11 on the indoor ropes course. With the right filter, we could look as young as we do in this wedding picture, right? I love this man and I love our loud little girls.

Quinn has been insisting on wearing a ballerina dress to Talie's ballet class.

She also insists on going into the empty studio to dance in front of the mirror.

Elliott ALMOST finished her homework on the bus and plopped herself on the driveway to finish it. Woman on a mission.

Successful dress rehearsal!

I come back, open the door, and there's Veronica and Charlie doing Number Seventeen -- the spread eagle. #lipschitz #acroyoga

Acro Yoga is SO FUN.

Fun time with friends -- Steph is working on not closing her eyes in pictures. HA!

Not every day is filled with sunshine and rainbows. There are lots of emotions and lots of tears but there are also moments of happiness and hilarity every day.

"Give me that pizza. Now."

Toddler/pre-school dance class

This little nutcase was HIDING from me at bedtime!

Just your typical Monday morning.

Presents from Great Grammie are fun!

SPRING!!!

Lacrosse and soccer seasons begin!

Giving Auntie Lauren goodnight kisses.

I volunteered as backstage mom for the ballet recital -- I didn't get to see the actual show which was a bummer but I love love love being backstage. Times have changed -- lots of screen time to keep them relatively quiet.

Lots of little ballerinas

It's too bad she doesn't have any stage presence. Hee hee.

We love Paigey!

Spice maracas!

I'm so glad we got a Broadway in Boston subscription. Our Sunday night dates are so fun -- especially when they include sushi on fire?

Californ-I-A

What an awesome awesome vacation. The kids (and I) traveled well, slept well, ate well. Everyone got along, the weather was great. I'd be lying if I told you I didn't look at real estate listings every day. It has been a long, hard winter here in New England. California was a breath of sunshiny fresh air. I'm ready to go back.
Oh my bags are packed, I'm ready to go ... Overhead bin, here we come!

Library stop before we hit the beach house

"MATT! HAND! And MINNIE!"

Reunited and it feeeeeeels so goooooood!

Taken about 30 seconds before Talie fell face-first onto the pavement. Oof jetlag.

I could live in Livermore.

I could get used to sunshine and sidewalks.

Kat and Eric have a winery on their block. That's FUN.

We dug a hole for Ant Minnie's belly so she could lay down on her belly!

Yes please.

Acro Elliott

Jas was in charge of picking books for Quinn

I read SEVERAL paragraphs of my book. Several.

Russell Jr on duty.

I love the Monterey Aquarium

MOVIE NIGHT! YAY!

Catching up on the day's atrocities ... I mean news ...

Nemo! Dory!

Successful de-sanding

All aboard!

Math class with Teacher Elliott. She gave out a LOT of gold stars.

TOGA!

Officers Moens and Moens reporting for duty. Let's go home!

As we pulled into the driveway, sighing with contentment about what a lovely vacation we had ... a wave came out of the garage. The water heater overflowed and flooded the basement. Yay. Sigh. Home Sweet Home?
