Rockin' NYE (as per usual)

Our traditional evening with the McTuris was fun as always -- AMAZINGLY, I stayed awake until midnight! Of course, I went to bed at 12:01, but I made it!

Stay-cation

Jas has been home for more than a week and we have been all over the place visiting friends. We've also been getting a bunch of home projects done so I am a happy happy camper. LOVE having him home.

Pie-Face is all the rage. It's hilarious.

The roads were SUPER icy so we ended up spending the night -- we put all 4 littles in the same room and it wasn't a disaster!

It looks like an episode of MTV's Unplugged.

And so it begins ...

The snow has arrived ...

Rockaway Christmas

Jas and the girls headed to Nana's house while I stayed home with a sick puppy.  I organized a bunch of closets, de-Christmased the house, and watched (slash napped through) all of the Star Wars movies.

Oh and there's this

Halfway there.
19 week ultrasound

12 weeks

17 weeks

1st trimester exhaustion and morning sickness while managing two other high energy children is NO JOKE.

10 week ultrasound

The girls kiss and talk to the baby ALL THE TIME. Talie cuddled up on me the other day and said: "I'm so happy to have a baby."

More 1st trimester exhaustion documented from the couch.

13? week ultrasound
So since I am of advanced maternal age (GASP!) and having a geriatric pregnancy (SCOFF!), I had extra chromosomal testing (a benefit of being an elderly patient?). We have a low risk for all chromosomal disorders and we know it's another girl! Wheee!  When we told Elliott, she loudly proclaimed that we could still name it Jason Jr because there is no such thing as a boy name! That's my girl! So yeah, this is happening. I am thrilled but it occurred to me the other day that I now need to birth another child ... Oy.

Christmas Day

Good morning Baby Maya!!!

She has been talking about Julie Albright, the American Girl Doll she wants with all her heart, for months. Success!

Future LAX star? She wore those silly goggles all morning.

It would be a Christmas miracle if this kid would be potty trained.

BOWS BOWS AND MORE BOWS!

Checking out the stars and the new telescope.

Merry Cookie-mas! Ha!

I realized laaaaaaate in the day that I hadn't been in any photos. So this is what we get: sleepy happy girls right before bed.

Christmas Eve

Maya loves bows.  I don't think any of the presents had bows on them in the morning -- she had them all on her head. HA!
Matchy-matchy!!

Uncle Jay was tracking Santa on his phone all night for Elliott.

Making sure the fireplace gate is open for Santa.

It was almost 70 degrees (and muddy). I'm dreaming of a springy Christmas?
