Happy Birthday to ME

Jas is finally home!!! He took the day off to snowblow and take us sledding. Matt is here visiting and we are ordering sushi.  Happy birthday to ME!

Seriously.  SO MUCH SNOW.

My favorite part of  this photo is the kid wiping out in the back.  Ha!  Is that mean?  He was fine -- there were a bunch of kids trying to tandem sled and wiped out over and over and over.  Too funny.

A little post-sledding nap.

Matt is going to borrow our car.  If and when he can get it out ...

Who let Jas go shopping alone?

February Stuff

I haven't posted in a while -- I think I'm in a post-vacation, polar vortex depression.  There has been SO MUCH SNOW and Jas has been in Spain and I'm tired of winter. But we're making the best of it.

We talk to Dee Dee on the iPad a lot.  This particular day they were crafting together.  Dee Dee was quilting at the lake house and E set her up at her arts and crafts table.  Hee hee.

Can't go outside AGAIN? Fort time.

E helped me Talie-proof the kitchen.

SHHH.  THEY ARE PLAING NICELY AND I AM GOING TO READ A WHOLE PARAGRAPH OF MY BOOK.

Snowstorm number ... 12?

Indoor trampoline park!

Elliott is officially bigger than one Scout unit of measurement.

Need help shoveling?

Forgot to close the bathroom door ...

I put Daddy's selfie as my background and T spent the week kissing my phone.  So much baby gack on the screen. Ha!

Forts, tents, more snow ... lather, rinse, repeat.

She just poured an entire glass of water on her head.

Wheeeeeeeee!

Turks and Caicos and Happiness

Yes, yes, I am extremely spoiled.  I am also EXTREMELY grateful to my fabulous husband who works very hard so I am able to go to the Caribbean ... twice ... in one month. [smily cringe]

We spent the week in lovely Turks and Caicos with our friends the Massaro family and had a BLAST.  Talie and I were sick but I'd rather be sick on the beach in the Caribbean than in single digit temperature New England.  Our two little water babies swam swam and swam all week long. Jas and Elliott have lovely tans, Talie is as white as she was last week and I am peeling. :o)

The view from the deck ... ahhhh.

We had a kitchen at the house so we ate in for dinner every night but we went to Da Conch Shack for lunch one day -- kids played in the sand (well except for Talie -- she HATED the sand) while the grownups ate lunch!

All dressed up in their Hawaiian dresses from Nana!

Water, water, everywhere

Look at that sick face.  She was super cuddly all week.

BFFs since day ... almost one.  We've had monthly playdates with Emmitt since these two were 9 weeks old.  They are such good buddies.  Their imagination games were hysterical to listen to.  She was Queen Clarion and he was Leonardo the Ninja Turtle.  Adorable.

Jas and M are friends from college and then we all worked together at edocs and now they work together again.  We joke that there will be at least one Moens/Massaro wedding.  Someone at the airport asked if they guys were brothers!

T may or may not have been sitting in a puddle of pee ... does that make this picture less adorable?

Ahhhhh.  The beach was just right down the driveway and we had a private little area with chairs, shade, and a hammock.  Then there was one little walkway down to an almost private beach. It was so relaxing and fun.

Just takin' a break.

Coconut mission.

Yes, she's asleep here.  And yes, that's her naked bum.

The house we rented also had a freshwater pool on property.  These two spent HOURS swimming.

Sleepy beach baby.

There was a reef right down the beach from us that was great for snorkeling!

Takin' another break.

There was also a glass bottom kayak on property!
