We had a fabulous week in North Carolina with two other families in a giant beach house. Six adults, NINE kids, no broken bones, no broken plates!

Seriously? Amazing.  Plenty of room for all three families, a movie room, a pool ... it rocked.

We missed the marathon this year but I chased Steph and Wendy for 4 miles.

The pool was heated but it's only April so it was a little chilly.  The kids (and adults) LOVED the hot tub.

The moms got it to ourselves one afternoon after we went running. Ahhhhh.

They tried all week ... but they only ever caught seaweed.

As if they needed more entertainment -- there was a digger depositing sand on the beach all afternoon one day.

World travelers

We are raising excellent travelers.  The girls were rock stars on the ride down and back.  It was a LONG way but they were great.

Talie started to lose it towards the end so we switched her seat around so she was facing forward.  Happy girl!

We took a slight detour and took a ferry from NJ to Delaware.  It added some time to the trip but it was nice to be out of the car for a leg of the trip.

She was very excited to have breakfast at Uncle Donny's favorite restaurant.

We took the WAY long way home but made lots of stops.  Danger baby loved this giant slide!

Other random vacation fun

It took several days, but T eventually stopped giving Andrew the stink eye.

The little kids were having popsicles or something boring so the big kids were hiding their chocolate chip cookies behind the counter!

H lost a tooth ... in the pool.  It took some looking, but they found it!

Easter in Rockaway

We stopped in Rockaway on our way to vacation in North Carolina for the girls to get some cousin time.

Easter Bunnies!

Matt and Linds sent some Easter pals in the mail.  Talie has a squirrel named Chippy and Elliott immediately named her Sloth "Sticky" because he sticks to her back!

Jas was the mystery reader.  E slept in braids the night before so she could have crimpy hair ...

She sets her babies up to get their diapers changed but she runs away from me when it is her turn.

Teething is not fun. But at least she's finally getting teeth!
