We took in the last few rays of summer sun at Crane's Beach where Elliott got over her fear of/aversion to sand just in time for fall.

It was HOT in the sun, but we all ran the CVS Downtown 5K in Providence.

I like fall

Don't get me wrong, we LOVED this summer. We were outside all the time (as evidenced by Elliott's tan) and I appreciated having air conditioning but MAN OH MAN OH MAN am I excited to have the windows open and long-sleeves on. I love the fall.

Recent Fun

Mealtime has gotten messy here in our house now that Elliott has decided she can manage a spoon on her own (she tries ... but can't). She doesn't like wearing bibs and I don't like doing laundry so most of her meals are eaten topless.


Finger-painting was fun until she put a blob of purple paint in her mouth. Gross.



She accidentally set off the Roomba and was NOT happy about it.
