April Showers

Stomach bug hits AGAIN.

E's homework for Girl Scouts was to draw a picture of a strong and courageous woman.  She chose Nana.

And the stomach bug spreads ...

I guess this was in March since they are in T's room. Anyhow, how cute are they?

Yoga Rest

Upward Dog!

I woke up from my nap to this absurd face.

And so continue the 40th birthday celebrations! Look!  All eleven of us!

Green eyes and an appreciation for Nutella. Yup, she's mine.

Birthday lunch for Miss Stephanie!

Tongue out, jazz hands. Yup, this one's mine, too.

Spa night -- head massages.

Our "late morning" playdate with the Rookirk boys started at 8:45am.

The sitter said they gave her no trouble at bedtime and snuggled down in their own beds ... but we came home to this. Ha!

She works hard for her money.

My nap buddy.

Tap class.

Picnic and a tarp.

Prepping freezer meals for imminent baby arrival. Look at that belly!!!

Spring!

If she'll nap, I won't argue about WHERE she naps.

Swingin' Sunday!

EARLY morning playdate to help out a neighbor.

April Vacation

Last year I had grand plans of doing all sorts of adventures over spring break but got sick so we stayed home. This year, I knew I wasn't up for adventuring so we hosted a bunch of playdates. E has some awesome friends. I love when they happily include Talie in their games.

Quiet time wasn't very quiet ...

Adriana!

Finley!

And BAM! E can read. She's been able to read for a while not but this week, something clicked. Now, she'll just sit down with a book or magazine and actually READ. It is fascinating to watch her brain work.

Annabelle and the Habeskis!

Auntie M's Shower

My OB and I weren't too keen on the idea of a 5 hour car ride to NYC this weekend so I had to miss Auntie M's wedding shower but E made the trip and it was a successful surprise!
