We got a ha-YUGE tree this year. It's more than 10 feet tall -- and we had to get it off our car and into the house ... As we were going up onto the deck, my foot got caught in the wrapping and before I knew it, I was in a full split (sitcom style) yelling at Jas to stop pulling it up the stairs! We usually have waffles and ice cream for dinner when we decorate but we had been to a birthday party earlier in the day so we delayed that special dinner until Friday night. NO WAY were we skipping that tradition.

| We realized late in the game that Jas wasn't going to be able to hoist Elliott up to get the star on this year -- the tree was too tall! He remembered this claw toy that was part of his "Mr Grab-it-all" Halloween costume and Little Miss Remembers Everything knew exactly where in the backyard (under a tree by the fence!) to find it! Her memory is amazing. |
