Kula

Kula is the town that is a little higher up on Haleakala than Makawao. We were going to go for a hike, but the park is closed because of erosion. No matter -- the drive alone was worth the drive! There were these crazy one lane pin turns up the side of the volcano -- a whole bunch of paragliders were launching from the top. The view was AMAZING.
