August

We sat in traffic FOREVER to get to Wingaersheek.

It was high tide and SUPER busy.  We didn't stay long.

Typical morning activity.

Purple lips!  Waterlogged!

So. Many. Ankle-biters.

Really though? We are having a great summer. Are there occasional tantrums and a complete disregard for the concept of an "inside voice" and dogs eating food off the counter? Yes. But there's also this. THIS IS AWESOME.

We are so fortunate to have several friends with pools.  Someone else is in charge of the headcount here.

Talie LOVES babies.  She wants to hold them all. "Oh! He's so teensy tiny!"

Gross tasting jelly bean contest.

What's a party without karaoke?

Sniff sniff.  Jillian is off to college!

New school shoes!

Dance Party while waiting for the farmer's market to open.

We drove up to the North Shore Music Theatre in the WORST rainstorm ever to see Sleeping Beauty.  The girls loved it but I'm not sure it was worth the MOST TERRIFYING DRIVING OF MY LIFE.

Doesn't everyone play Frozen dress up at 7:00am?

Boston Day!

Auntie M and "Almost-Uncle" Harold were visiting

So maybe 2 kids with no carseats in a cab wasn't a GREAT idea but there is NO WAY they were walking all the way back to the car.  SO exhausted!

They make is so easy for Jas to go to work.

Yes, yes, she's the best dog ever. Recently however, Scout ate an entire pan of roasted beets (resulting in frighteningly fluorescent red dog bombs). Last week she ate an entire coffee cake. And the mystery has been solved as to why my tomato plants have not produced any tomatoes: Scout the Canine Vacuum. Lucky thing she's cute.  I have to say though: the other day, we couldn't find her ANYWHERE in the house and I started to panic.  Turns out she had gotten locked in the garage but it turns out I DO love her because I was very worried about her. :o)

Elliott has new tap shoes and a new lunch box.  The only thing that would make her happier would be if school started TODAY.

The ELIOT station!

I forgot how loud the green line is ... T was NOT a fan.

The view from Daddy's new office does not suck.

Quiet time at the library.

Bigger tap shoe station!

This kid is hilarious.
We were out WAY too late -- and then went home to our firepit to be up even later!  Who says we aren't 22 anymore?!?
