After a whole week of "maternity leave" and a shortened holiday week, I had my first 5 full days all on my own as the mother of TWO children. There were minimal tears and we were on time for almost all of our planned activities. I'd love to have a week or two to veg on the couch and watch reruns of Friends but alas, life with a preschooler steamrolls ahead!
