Maine-cation

We went on vacation with the extended Flahuvan family this week and stayed in a GORGEOUS house up north of Bar Harbor.

If we had more kids or pets, they'd have to go on the roof.

Yes please.

Danger McMoens spent the week finding the most treacherous things to play with and do.

Tired girls watching a movie (Elliott was partial to the chimney sweep scene in "Mary Popcorn.").

A little light reading ... Picking out random passages from romance novels to read aloud is almost as fun as grown-up choose-your-own-adventure.

The girls were constantly on the hunt for animals -- real and imaginary.

E didn't quite understand how to make her hands into binoculars ...

Who needs an electronic alarm system when you have the biggest guard moths EVER.

Collecting rocks in her "pocket" aka my back.

Careful Ant Lindsay!

Jas had to work most of the week so I tried to keep E away from him -- she learned that if he doesn't respond to "DADDY! HEY DADDY!" he might respond to "JASON! JASON!"

Danger McMoens was getting into trouble while we were making dinner so we had to keep her contained.

Scout got some love and attention.

The girls racked up some serious mileage running up and down this hallway.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to the Flahuvans for letting our chaotic family join in on their vacation. Hopefully they were able to sleep late once we left ...
