The birthday girl was on a nap strike this weekend -- having Uncle Matt and Ant Lindsay around all weekend and having no power was just too exciting! We had a fun sleepover party and watched Hurricane Irene blow through -- we lost power for 36 hours but were mostly able to keep ourselves entertained. We really appreciated the skylight in the bathroom, read bedtime stories by flashlight and only had to throw away a few things from the freezer. This is an extremely boring post.

The rain was pretty crazy -- Elliott insisted on going with Daddy to take Scout out. Silly bug.
